Ongoing military escalation | Turkish forces renew bombardment on Manbij countryside in north-eastern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired several rockets this morning on positions in Manbij countryside in north-eastern Aleppo. The bombardment targeted the villages of Awn Al-Dadat, Tokhar, Al-Lajat and Al-Hawshariyah, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported clashes with heavy weapons between Turkish forces and their proxy factions on one hand, and Manbij Military Council Forces on the other in Al-Sajour line area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Turkish forces fired dozens of shells on the villages of Awn Al-Dadat, Tokhar, Al-Jat and Al-Hawshariyah in the countryside of Manbij. No casualties were reported.

 

Meanwhile, a fighter jet flew over the area, amid the clashes that began in the early hours of Sunday morning.
