Family dispute | Two siblings killed in armed fighting in western Daraa countryside

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that armed fighting has erupted between members of the same family in Tel Shihab town in the western countryside of Daraa over an old dispute, during which they used firearms.

This armed fighting has left two brothers dead and others injured.

On July 24, SOHR sources reported that clashes erupted between two tribes in Al-Ghariyah Al-Sharqiyah town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, resulting in a woman’s death. Meanwhile, regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint near the site where the clashes were going on opened fire on the conflicting tribespeople, amid rising tension in the town.

It is worth noting that family and tribal infightings escalated recently in different areas in Daraa province and left civilian casualties.
