Al-Raqqah countryside | Turkish forces and their proxies shell positions on M4 and surrounding areas of Ain Issa camp

Al-Raqqah province: SOHR sources have reported heavy bombardment by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on Al-Raqqah countryside, as several rockets and artillery shells hit positions in the village of Ma’alak and Jadidah in Ain Issa countryside, as well as the surrounding areas of Ain Issa camp and positions on M4 international highway in north Al-Raqqah countryside. No casualties have been reported.

This coincides with the considerable escalation of aerial and ground operations by Turkish forces on SDF-controlled areas and near the Syrian-Turkey border in north and east Syria.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired artillery shells on positions in the villages of Kor Hassan and Aridah in west Tel Abyad countryside and Al-Hisha village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah, leaving material damage. This bombardment came as a part of military escalation in SDF-controlled areas in north and east Syria.

SOHR sources had reported that the water station nearby Al-Hisha village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah sustained considerable material damage due to the Turkish bombardment on the surrounding areas of the village.
