Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces shell positions in Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported renewed bombardment by Turkish forces on Kurdish-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where artillery shells hit positions in Soghanka, Uqaybah and the surrounding areas of Um Housh. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR sources have just reported that several members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” sustained various injuries yesterday evening, after a heat-seeking missile, fired from areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed, had targeted their military car on Mare’ frontline in north Aleppo countryside. The attack also resulted in the burning of the car.

 

Meanwhile, opposition factions reacted to the attack by shelling the surrounding areas of the villages of Harbal, Um Al-Housh and Tel Qarah in the northern countryside of Aleppo with rockets and artillery shells. However, no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the bombardment.

 

Yesterday, Turkish forces stationed in bases in Jalbal village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside fired several artillery shells on the surrounding areas of Ibbin village in the same district, but no further details were reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the bombardment.
