SOHR activists have documented the death of three regime soldiers and injury of others, due to the Israeli attack on the Air-Defence base and Radar in Abo Asfa village, five kilometers southern to Tartous city at the Syrian coast and nearly eight kilometers away from the Russian base.

Moreover, missiles, believed to be regime’s anti-aircraft, hit Al-Qatifa and Al-Qalmon areas in Rif Dimashq.

SOHR activists have just monitored Israeli strikes on regime military positions, which hold Iranian militias in southern Tartous countryside, where several missiles hit the vicinity of Abo Afsa village, the Air-Defence base and a radar in the region, where several loud explosions were heard in these positions, while ambulances rushed to the sites to save the wounded people and take the killed ones. However, the number of casualties hasn’t been identified yet.

It is worth noting that this is the 19th Israeli attack on Syrian territory since 2022.

On July 22, SOHR sources reported that the number of people who were killed in the Israeli strikes on military positions in the surrounding areas of Damascus in the early hours of Friday morning had risen to eight.

According to SOHR sources, the fatalities are three people of non-Syrian nationalities and two “collaborators” with the Lebanese Hezbollah were killed in a position hosting a workshop for manufacturing Iranian drones nearby Sayeda Zeinab area, and three Syrian members were killed in military positions hosting air defence batteries in the perimeter of Al-Mazzah airbase.
