Old ordnance | Child killed and three others injured in two explosions of unexploded ordnance in Hama and Aleppo

SOHR activists have documented the death of a child in an explosion of an old cluster bomb in Qastoun town in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama countryside.

Meanwhile, three children were injured by the explosion of an old landmine in western Manbij countryside, north-east of Aleppo.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 154 civilians, including ten women and 73 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 237 civilians, including 15 women and 130 children, sustained various injuries in the same period.

Among the total death toll, a man and his son were killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq, as well as the death of four civilians in the collapse of another building in Jubar neighbourhood.
