Security chaos | Kidnappers in Al-Suwaydaa demand ransom of 10,000 USD for releasing young man from Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a civilian from Muhajah town in Daraa countryside while he was on his way from Damascus to an ancient town in Al-Suwaydaa countryside to visit his friend. The kidnappers took the young man to an unknown destination.

The kidnappers demanded that his family pay a ransom of 10,000 USD for the young man’s release, while his family appealed to the concerned authorities to intervene to save and release the kidnapped man.

This comes in the light of the rampant security chaos that pervades Syria.

On July 16, SOHR activists reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a civilian from Alma town in the eastern countryside of Daraa and took him to an unknown destination.
