After taking control over hospital | Clashes erupt between Al-Qaterjy militas and National Defence in Al-Mayadin

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that Al-Qaterjy militias turned a women’s hospital into military headquarters, after they took control over it in Al-Mayadin city in areas held by the Iranian militias in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the National Defence forces objected to Al-Qaterjy militias actions regarding taking over the hospital, and sent military reinforcements to expell them. Menwhile, armed clashes erupted between both sides for over an hour, amid rejection of regime security services to interfere and break the clashes.

Earlier today, SOHR sources, in Al-Ashara city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside in areas controlled by regime forces and iranian-backed militias, reported that clashes with medium weapons broken out between “National Defence” members and an armed group of “Ausud Al-Sharqiyyah militia near Hikma hospital in Al-Ashara city yesterday midnight.

These clashes erupted following a dispute between the two groups over routes used for fuel smuggling and left no casualties.
