Casualty toll of Turkish intensive shelling | Child killed and seven civilians injured in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) and its countryside

SOHR activists have documented the death of a child and the injury of seven others, including two children and a woman in the intensive rocket attack carried out by Turkish forces on Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) and its western countryside, east of Aleppo province.

Meanwhile, the violent clashes and intensive shelling between SDF and Turkish forces are still going on west of Ain al-Arab.

Moreover, Turkish forces bombarded areas in Jabal Mushtanur near Kobani city, hosting a Russian military base.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that western countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) at Syria-Turkey border east of Aleppo was witnessing violent clashes between Turkish forces stationed on the border and SDF forces.

The clashes were concentrated on the frontlines of Zor Maghar, Jarkhali, Boban, Seftek, Sheioukh and Tel Sha’yer.

These clashes coincided with the exchange of heavy shelling and heavy machine guns between SDF and Turkish forces.

According to Syrian Observatory activists, the area was witnessing a significant displacement of people following Turkish military escalation.

Moreover, a SDF military force vehicle was targeted by Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), amid reports that an SDF military vehicle had been targeted by a Turkish drone.
