Tribal infighting | Man killed in rural Daraa

 

Daraa province: A young man from Al-Lajat area, north of Daraa was shot dead in a shooting between two tribes in Al-Taybah town in eastern Daraa countryside, SOHR activists reported.

According to SOHR activists, the killer fled to an unknown destination.

On August 14, SOHR activists documented the death of a man of wounds he sustained in tribal clashes in Al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa ten days ago.

On August 4, a man was killed, and his brother seriously injured in armed clashes that erupted in Al-Sanamayn city in the countryside of Daraa.

According to SOHR sources, clashes with medium weapons erupted between two tribes over an old dispute that was renewed that morning. Meanwhile, Al-Sanamayn city was seeing sporadic clashes.

On June 20, SOHR activists reported that three civilians were wounded by stray bullets fired in violent clashes that erupted in Al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa, during which medium weapons and RPG shells were used over an old dispute.
