Turkish offensive | Over 30 rocket and artillery shells hit Kurdish-held areas north of Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in the villages of Anab and Jalbel in Shirawa district have fired over 30 rocket and artillery shells on the vicinity of the villages of Soganka, Qantara and Abyan in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside. No further details about the number of casualties and material damage have been reported so far.

SOHR activists also reported that several rockets have rained down on the outskirts of Jarablus and near Al-Khalawi camp on the outskirts of Jarablus. No further details have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that many civilians’ houses were damaged in Abin village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside north-western of Aleppo, where the Turkish forces stationed in Jalbal village in Shirawa district fired artillery and mortar shells directly on houses of the village.

Moreover, artillery shells and missiles hit the vicinity of Borj Qas and Miyasah villages in Shirawa district and Ihres village in Aleppo countryside. Only material damage was reported.
