Death toll update | Two Turkish soldiers killed and three others injured in SDF rocket attack on Turkish border post off Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

 

A Turkish soldier died of wounds he sustained in yesterday’s rocket attack carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on a border post inside Turkish territory, opposite Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), east of Aleppo.

Accordingly, the casualty toll of Turkish soldiers has risen to five

• Two deaths.

• Three injuries.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the number of casualties of Turkish airstrikes that hit northern and eastern Syria rose to 17, including four SDF members due to airstrikes by a Turkish drone on Sonjok Sadoun village in Amouda countryside, and 13 regime and SDF members were killed due to Turkish airstrikes on positions in Ain Al-Arab eastern of Aleppo. Meanwhile, the number of casualties is believed to increase because of people missing and seriously wounded.

Moreover, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces targeted several military checkpoints with ground and air bombardment in the area. It was not known whether all the dead people are regime soldiers only or included civilians also.
