Al-Raqqah | Clashes in outdoors market in west Al-Raqqah countryside leave casualties

SOHR sources have reported that clashes erupted between members of Al-Bobatoush tribe and Al-Bakour family in an outdoors market in the SDF-controlled city of Al-Tabaqah in Al-Raqqah countryside, following disagreements between the two sides, which evolved to exchange of gunfire. The clashes left several people, including two members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), dead and wounded. Meanwhile, a state of tension is growing in that area, amid closure of shops of the market.

On August 14, SOHR activists reported a tribal infighting in SDF-controlled areas, where three young men were killed in clashes which had erupted over retaliation in Al-Shuhayl town in east Deir Ezzor countryside. Also, other people were injured in these clashes which experienced the use of light and medium weapons. Meanwhile, residents of Al-Shuhayl town appealed to the fighting families to stop blood shed among cousins and ceasefire to provide medical treatment to the injured people.
