Proliferation of arms | Clashes in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) leave casualties, while civilians injured in indiscriminate gunfire in Al-Raqqah

SOHR activists have documented the death of two sibling young men from Saftik village in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani) in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and injury of three others in clashes with individual weapons over an earlier retaliation. The clashes erupted nearby the park in Ain Al-Arab city, while the injured people were taken to medical centres.

On the other hand, two women and a young man were injured in indiscriminate gunfire during clashes between the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and customs service on one hand, vendors selling fuel on the other in the area of Kornish in the south of Al-Raqqah city.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that clashes erupted between members of Al-Bobatoush tribe and Al-Bakour family in an outdoors market in the SDF-controlled city of Al-Tabaqah in Al-Raqqah countryside, following disagreements between the two sides, which evolved to exchange of gunfire. The clashes left several people, including two members of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), dead and wounded. Meanwhile, a state of tension was growing in that area, amid closure of shops of the market.
