Following violations of commander | SDF-held areas witness new public protests in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that residents of Shinan village in SDF-held areas in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, have went out on public protests against the violations committed by a military commander in the area, and against the deteriorating living conditions and services, where protestors set fire to rubber tires to close the main road in the village.

On August 17, SOHR activists reported that dozens of residents of Al-Muwailah village in Al-Sor town in northern Deir Ezzor countryside in SDF-held areas, went out on protests against the deteriorating living conditions and lack of services, in addition to the administrative corruption within the institutions of the “Autonomous Administration.”

The protests set fire to rubber tires and cut roads in the area.
