Following Al-Bab massacre | Regime forces and “National Army” factions trade ground shelling on frontlines

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have monitored exchanged ground shelling between “National Army” factions on one hand and regime forces on the other hand, on the frontlines of Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside.

Moreover, Turkish forces and their proxies shelled positions in Radar, Shi’ar, Nayribiyah, Tel Enab, Hasajikak, Karamil, Tel Jijan, and Ta’ana villages in Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that the number of people killed, due to the massacre committed by regime forces in Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside, have risen to 17 people including six children and four unidentified people, who died under the shelling by regime ground forces on residential areas and a public market in Al-Bab city, which is held by Turkish forces and factions of “Euphrates Shield” operation room. Meanwhile, the number of casualties is expected to rise as there are over 35 injured people, with some of them severely injured.

Earlier today, SOHR activists confirmed the increase of the number of casualties due to the massacre committed by regime forces which shelled an outdoors market and residential neighbourhoods in Al-Bab city in Aleppo countryside with artillery to over 50 civilians.

It is worth noting that this is the most horrific massacre of those committed by regime forces in months.

SOHR sources confirmed that the artillery shells were fired from regime positions in the northern countryside of Aleppo as a response to the killing of regime soldiers in airstrikes by Turkish fighter jets on positions in Ain Al-Arab countryside a few days ago.
