Military escalation | Turkish forces renew ground and air shelling on areas near borders in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies executed ground shelling on areas in northern Al-Hasakah countryside near Syrian-Turkish borders, where Turkish artillery targeted farms owned by residents in Qormaniyah village western of Al-Dirbasiyah.

Meanwhile, a Turkish drone targeted an empty area near the school in the western neighbourhood of the city. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier today, Turkish forces fired several mortars and artillery shells on Jatl village in Al-Darbasiyah countryside in AL-Hasakah province, which led to outbreak of fires in farmlands.

On the other hand, SDF border guards fired several shells on positions inside Turkey, targeting an armoured vehicle, burning it down. However, no casualties were reported.
