Daily death toll | 25 persons killed on August 19 across Syria

Further details of fatalities, documented by SOHR, can be summarised as follows:

 

  • 17 civilians, including six children and four unidentified people, were killed in regime artillery fire on an outdoors market and residential neighbourhoods in Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo.

 

  • Four minor girls were killed in airstrikes by Turkish drone on the UN-sponsored “Girls’ Centre” in Shamoukah village which is located nearly two kilometres away from the International Coalition base on the road between Al-Hasakah and Tel Tamr and nearly 45 kilometres away from the Syria-Turkey border.

 

  • Two sibling young men from Saftik village in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani) were killed in clashes with individual weapons over an earlier retaliation. The clashes erupted nearby the park in Ain Al-Arab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

  • A man was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city.

 

  • A regime soldier was killed by the explosion of an old landmine planted earlier by ISIS in Sadd Awared area in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.
