Mourning deaths of Al-Bab massacre | People go on general strike and close shops in Al-Bab city in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: The residents of Al-Bab city have staged a general strike, paralysing the facilities in Al-Bab city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, to mourn the people who died in artillery and rocket shells carried out yesterday by regime forces on residential neighbourhoods and a popular market.

Regime forces waged this attack in response to the killing of regime soldiers in a Turkish airstrike on a regime checkpoint in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) days earlier.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that the number of people killed, due to the massacre committed by regime forces in Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside, rose to 17 people including six children and four unidentified people, who died under the shelling by regime ground forces on residential areas and a public market in Al-Bab city, which is held by Turkish forces and factions of “Euphrates Shield” operation room.

Meanwhile, the number of casualties is expected to rise as there are over 35 injured people, with some of them severely injured.
