Old ordnance | Two children injured in explosion in Aleppo countryside
Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of two children, one of whom has lost a part of his hand, following the explosion of a n old blasting cap in Tadef town in Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo. The two children were taken to a hospital.
Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 160 civilians, including ten women and 78 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 240 civilians, including 15 women and 133 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll, a man and his son were killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq, as well as the death of four civilians in the collapse of another building in Jubar neighbourhood.
