Russian airstrikes | Jets consecutively pound Idlib city perimeter

Russian fighter jets have executed 14 airstrikes on the area surrounding Idlib central prison near Arab Said town, west of Idlib city, where HTS positions are located. No casualties have been reported so far.

Over the past days, Russian warplanes flew over Idlib countryside and did not execute any airstrikes on the area.

On August 1, SOHR activists reported that a Russian fighter jet fired two air-to-air missiles in the airspace of Kansafrah in Idlib countryside.

It is worth noting that Russian aircraft committed a massacre in the northern countryside of Jisr Al-Shughour, last July.
