Despite giving “guarantees for return” | Regime security services arrest three people after entering Syrian territory

SOHR activists have reported that the regime security services have arrested three people after they entered Syrian territory through “Kasb” and “Jarablus” crossings, despite coordinating with the “Reconciliation Committee” of the Syrian regime.

According to reliable SOHR sources, two young men from Madaya town in Rif Dimashq, were living in northern Aleppo countryside in areas held by the Turkish forces and their proxies, prepared for their return to Syria in coordination with the regime’s “Reconciliation Committee”. However, they were arrested by security services at Kasb crossing at Turkish borders in Lattakia countryside, without knowing the charges pressed against them.

On the other hand, the regime security services arrested a civilian in Aleppo city, where he entered Syrian territory through “Jarablus” crossing and moved to Idlib before moving to Aleppo, in coordination with the regime’s “Reconciliation Committee”, before being arrested there without knowing the charges pressed against him.

On August 8, SOHR activists reported that regime security forces stationed at checkpoints between Da’il and Tafas in Daraa countryside arrested a man on his way to Da’il in the past few hours.

According to Syrian Observatory activists, the arrested man is accused of joining Khalid bin Al-Walid’s army faction “pledging allegiance” to ISIS during the faction’s control over Al-Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside.
