Turkish abuses | Turkish forces stationed at border outposts and “Peace Spring” areas shell three villages in Al-Hasakah countryside

 

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces stationed at border posts near the border with Syria shelled, at dawn, Jatl village in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Meanwhile, SDF border guard forces waged a counterattack, firing an artillery shell on Turkish territory.

Moreover, tit-for-tat clashes with machine guns erupted between SDF and Turkish forces, amid frequent flights by Turkish drones over the area.

SOHR activists also reported that Turkish forces stationed at “Peace Spring” area, bombarded, this morning, the villages of Tel Al-Laban and Al-Kouzliyah in Tel Tamr countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah. No casualties have been reported.

On August 19, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies executed shelling on areas in northern Al-Hasakah countryside near Syrian-Turkish borders, where Turkish artillery targeted farms owned by residents in Qormaniyah village western of Al-Dirbasiyah.

Meanwhile, a Turkish drone targeted an empty area near the school in the western neighbourhood of the city. However, no casualties were reported.
