Military escalation | Missiles hit vicinity of Turkish base in Al-Bab while Turkish forces shell areas in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that reported that several missiles hit the vicinity of the Turkish base in Al-Ghouz village western of Al-Bab city in north eastern countryside of Aleppo, fired from areas of the Kurdish and regime forces in northern Aleppo countryside.

Turkish forces responded by shelling areas of Kurdish and regime forces in northern Aleppo countryside. However, the extent of damage hasn’t been reported yet.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that the number of people who were killed in a Turkish drone attack that hit a market in Tel Rifaat city centre had risen to three, including a woman from Afrin.

According to SOHR sources, the woman died of her severe wounds in Afrin hospital.

The Turkish drone strike also left eight people injured, some seriously; the death toll is believed to rise.
