Praising SDF security campaign | Tribal dignitaries and elders in Deir Ezzor countryside stress their support to Autonomous Administration

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that dignitaries and elders of “Al-Bakara” tribe issued a statement today, vowing to cooperate with the Autonomous Administration to hand over suspects and weapons and to coordinate with relevant authorities to arrest drug dealers. “Al-Bakara” tribe’s dignitaries and elders also stressed their support to the project of the “Autonomous Administration in northern and north-eastern Syria.”

This coincides with the large-scale security campaign launched by Syria Democratic Forces in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, searching for security suspects and drug dealers and countering the proliferation of arms.

The well is located in Al-Izbah area in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor and has been operating with a production capacity of 2,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

While on August 19, SOHR activists reported that residents of Shinan village in SDF-held areas in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, went out on public protests against the violations committed by a military commander in the area, and against the deteriorating living conditions and services, where protestors set fire to rubber tires to close the main road in the village.

Also, on August 17, SOHR activists reported that dozens of residents of the SDF-held village of Al-Muwailah in Al-Sor town in north Deir Ezzor countryside, went out on protests against the deteriorating living conditions and lack of services, as well as the administrative corruption within the institutions of the “Autonomous Administration.”
