Al-Raqqa | Turkish forces and their proxies target Russian patrol forcing it to retreat
Al-Raqqa province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies opened fire on a Russian patrol, while it was passing in Al-Safawiyah village in eastern Ain Eissa countryside northern of Al-Raqqa, forcing the patrol to retreat from the area without clashes erupting.
On August 29, SOHR activists monitored a joint patrol comprising eight vehicles and roamed several villages in Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” countryside, amid flight of Russian helicopters.
This was the 110th joint patrol between the Russian Military Police and Turkish forces in Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside, according to the de-escalation agreement in the area.
