Military escalation | Turkish forces shell positions in Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired several artillery shells this morning, targeting SDF posts in the surrounding areas of Ain Issa and M4 international highway in northern Al-Raqqah.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area, which is controlled by the Turkish-backed factions, shelled Aboush, Tel Tawel, Um Al-Kaif and Al-Hamra villages in Tel Tamr countryside, north west of Al-Hasakah, putting a power station in Um Al-Kaif village out of service, amid displacement of residents to neighbouring villages.
