Regime atrocities | Two civilians arrested at checkpoint of regime military security service in northern Daraa

Daraa province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint of the military security service in in Al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa arrested two civilians from Jasim city in the same countryside. According to SOHR sources, the checkpoint members asked the two civilians to show their ID cards, before they asked them for a sum of money in return for their release.

 

On August 18, SOHR activists documented the death of a fighter of an anti-regime local faction operating in Daraa because of brutal torture in a regime security centre, after ten days of detention. The man had handed over by civilians to members of the regime military security service stationed at a checkpoint between Da’el and Tafas cities in western Daraa.
