Amid displacement of residents | Turkish forces and their proxies shell two villages in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in Dawodiyah base in “Peace Spring” area, have fired artillery shells on SDF military positions in Al-Dirdara village.

Moreover, Turkish forces and their proxies fired artillery shells on Tel Tawel and Al-Ashorya (Assyrian) villages, which are highly populated, in Tel Tamr countryside northern of Al-Hasakah, amid displacement of civilians to neighbouring villlages. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

It is worth noting that SDF-held areas in north eastern of Syria are witnessing significant military escalation from Turkish forces and their proxies.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area, which is controlled by the Turkish-backed factions, shelled Aboush, Tel Tawel, Um Al-Kaif and Al-Hamra villages in Tel Tamr countryside, north west of Al-Hasakah, putting a power station in Um Al-Kaif village out of service, amid displacement of residents to neighbouring villages.
