Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces shell positions in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces stationed in positions to the east of Ras Al-Ain city which is under the control of “Peace Spring” operations room in Al-Hasakah countryside shelled positions in Al-Hasakah countryside for the second consecutive day. Today’s bombardment targeted positions in the SDF-held villages of Al-Dardarah and Um Al-Kaif in Tel Tamr countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

 

On the other hand, technical teams are maintaining damage which the power station in Um Al-Kaif village sustained in yesterday’s bombardment by Turkish forces, which put the station out of service.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area, which is controlled by the Turkish-backed factions, shelled Aboush, Tel Tawel, Um Al-Kaif and Al-Hamra villages in Tel Tamr countryside, north west of Al-Hasakah, putting a power station in Um Al-Kaif village out of service, amid displacement of residents to neighbouring villages.
