Al-Hasakah | US forces stationed in third base in Al-Qamishli

Al-Hasakah province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that US forces have been stationed in a new military base in Naqarah village which is located nearly three kilometres to the south-west of Al-Qamishli city. Accordingly, the number of US military bases in Al-Qamishli in Al-Hasakah countryside has increased to three; they are as follows:

 

• A base in Himo village which is located nearly four kilometres to the north-west of Al-Qamishli city.

 

• A base in Tel Fares area which is located nearly three kilometres to the south-west of Al-Qamishli city, adjacent to the end of the runway of Al-Qamishli airport.

 

• A base in Naqarah village which is located nearly three kilometres to the south-west of Al-Qamishli city.

 

It is worth noting that US-led International Coalition Forces are stationed in several positions, oil and gas fields and strategic sites throughout SDF-controlled areas, while the base in Al-Omar oil field is the Coalition’s largest base in Syria.
