Deir Ezzor | ISIS members kidnap civilian for “snitching on ISIS “Al-Hisbah” leader”

Deir Ezzor province: ISIS militiamen kidnapped a civilian from Al-Takihi while he was in Al-A’zaa tent, hours after ISIS leader of security service (Al-Hisbah) was killed.

According to SOHR sources, ISIS gunmen on motorcycles, coming from the desert, kidnapped the civilian for “snitching on ISIS leader of security service (Al-Hisbah).”

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that SDF, backed by “International Coalition” helicopters, launched a security operation in Al-Takihy village in Deir Ezzor countryside, to arrest a commander of “Al-Hasaba” Service of ISIS, while he was in the house of one of his relatives in the village.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the commander known as “Saif” was hiding in Al-Takihy village, and tried to escape after hearing helicopters flying over the region, where an “International Coalition” drone targeted him, killing him immediately.

This came in light of the increasing activity of ISIS cells in SDF-held areas in northern and eastern of Syria, especially after ISIS members begged for their supporters, coinciding with the security operation launched by the Internal Security Forces in Al-Hawl camp.

On September 1, the International Coalition Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by Coalition helicopters, carried out two security operations, over two days, in Ghuwayran neighbourhood in northern Al-Hasakah, in areas controlled by the SDF.

During these security operations, SDF and Coalition arrested three ISIS members and confiscated weapons in their possession.
