Heavy artillery shelling | Turkish forces and their proxy factions bombard villages in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported heavy artillery shelling carried out by Turkish forces stationed east of Ras Al-Ain, in “Peace Spring area” in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting Abu Rasin vicinity and Umm Harmalah village in SDF-held areas in north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.

Moreover, Turkish-backed factions bombarded positions in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed in positions to the east of Ras Al-Ain city which is under the control of “Peace Spring” operations room in Al-Hasakah countryside shelled positions in Al-Hasakah countryside for the second consecutive day. The bombardment targeted positions in the SDF-held villages of Al-Dardarah and Um Al-Kaif in Tel Tamr countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties were reported.

On the other hand, technical teams were maintaining damage that the power station in Um Al-Kaif village sustained in the day before yesterday’s bombardment by Turkish forces, which put the station out of service.
