SOHR: US establishes third military base in Syria’s Qamishlo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced the establishment of the third military base of American forces near the city of Qamishlo in the kurdish-controlled region.
According to the organization monitoring the situation in Syria, the third American military base was established in the city of Qamishlo near the village of Naqara in the southwest of the city, and now American soldiers are stationed there.
Two other bases of American forces are located near Qamishlo in the villages of Hamo and Tel Firas.
The Syrian Human Rights Watch said that the largest base of American forces in the areas under the control of the Syrian Kurds is located near Omar oil field, and a significant number of military bases belonging to the United States have been established in other oil fields in northeastern Syria and strategic areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
The US has 900 military forces in Syria, most of which are stationed in the region controlled by the Syrian Kurds. A smaller number of British and French forces are also present in this region as members of the coalition against ISIS.
America brings most of its needed forces and equipment to the region through the Kurdistan region of Iraq border with the areas under the control of the Syrian Kurds in the northeast of Syria.
