Military escalation | Turkish forces shell regime and Kurdish areas while the latter fire guided missile on National Army military vehicle

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in Thalthana base at the outskirts of Marae’ city in northern Aleppo countryside, fired several missiles on the vicinity of Tel Refaat city and Al-Shaikh Eissa village within areas held by regime and Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo countryside, amid exchanged shelling on the frontlines of Marae’, Jabrin and Al-Shaikh Eissa villages. However, the extent of damage hasn’t been reported yet.

On the other hand, regime forces fired a guided missile on a military vehicle of the National Army, at the road linking between Kabashin and Borj Haidar villages within areas of the Turkish forces and their proxies, causing only material damages.

Meanwhile, the Turkish forces responded by shelling the vicinity of Al-Mayasa village with over 15 missiles and artillery shells. However the extent of damage hasn’t been reported yet.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that four rockets hit the perimeter of the Turkish base in Dabiq village in Akhtarin district in north Aleppo countryside. The rockets were fired from areas where Kurdish and regime forces are stationed in the northern countryside of Aleppo. However, no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces responded to the rocket fire by shelling the surrounding areas of Al-Sha’alah, Al-Sadd, Um Al-Qura and Hasajik villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo with rockets and heavy artillery shells. Also, no further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by this bombardment.
