111th joint patrol | Russian Military Police and Turkish forces tour Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Aleppo province: Russian Military Police and Turkish forces conducted the 111th joint patrol, in Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” countryside, amid the flying of Russian helicopters over the area.

The joint patrol, comprising eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, has set off from Gharib village.

The joint patrol toured the villages of Karbanaf, Kusk, Alishar, Joum Ali, Kourtak, Kobek Satin, Terry, Tel Hajeb, Qabajak Saghir, Telk, Holakiyah, Kharabisan Tahtani, Jayshan and Qurah mugh, then returned to the starting point in Gharib village.

On August 29, Russian Military Police and Turkish forces conducted the 110th joint patrol, in Ain Al-Arab “Kobani” in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, in accordance with de-escalation agreement that was reached between Russians and Turks.

The joint patrol, consisting of eight military vehicles, toured several villages in Ain Al-Arab countryside, amid the flying of Russian helicopters over the area.

This joint patrol came nearly a week after the people intercepted a joint patrol in the same area.

On August 22, Russian helicopters fired tear gas and bullets at residents of villages in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside, east of Aleppo, who blocked the 109th joint patrol between Russia and Turkey to express their rejection of Turkish presence in Syia.

The joint patrol, comprising eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles and two Russian helicopters, set off from Gharib village, 15 kilometres to the east of Ain Al-Arab.

The patrol toured villages of Kourah mugh, Jishan, Kharabisan Tahtani and Baghdik to Khanah village in western Tel Abyad countryside, north of Al-Raqqah.

The joint patrol then returned to the point of departure in Gharib village, passing through the villages of Baghdik, Kharabisan Tahtani, Halakia, Telk and Boztaba.
