Armed attack | Young woman injured by Military Security-backed local armed group leader in Daraa countryside

Daraa province: A young woman was injured a few days ago after her house was attacked by a leader of an armed group affiliated with “Military Security” service in Daraa in Syrian regime-controlled Azraa town in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

SOHR sources reported that the young woman was injured during her father’s cousin’s attack on their house and beating her father and mother. The young woman tried to film the attack on her mobile phone to convict him, then her relative opened fire at the woman, injuring her.

According to SOHR, the man who attacked the house and shot the young woman was a former member of a local faction before he struck the settlement with the Syrian regime in 2018, and formed an armed group affiliated with “military security” in Daraa.
