Security chaos in Daraa | Young man accused of “belonging to ISIS” found dead

Daraa province: The body of a young man from Tel Shihab was found this morning by residents near Maasarat Al-Shammari on the road between Al-Muzayrib and Al-Ash’ari near Tafas city in western Daraa countryside.

It is worth noting that the residents accuse the dead young man of “belonging to ISIS”

In mid-August, SOHR activists reported that the people had found the body of a young man in western Daraa countryside.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 368, which left 310 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 148 civilians, including four women and five children.

• 127 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 21 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• Three ex-ISIS members.

• Seven unidentified people.

• Four militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
