Rejecting Educational office’s proposal | Teachers of Al Jazeera educational complex protest in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that the teachers in the towns of Al-Jaradhi and Abu Hardoub in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside staged a vigil, rejecting the proposal of the “Educational” office of “Autonomous Administration” in Deir Ezzor in areas under the control of SDF.

According to SOHR activists, the teachers released a statement in which they expressed their rejection of the proposal of changing the structure of Al-Jazeera educational complex and appointing a new head for the educational complex. The main demand of the teachers is the appointment of qualified teachers.

On August 31, SOHR activists monitored protests by teachers in Al-Shu’aytat area in Deir Ezzor countryside, demanding a response to their demands, where the teachers announced that the protests would continue their protests until their demands were fulfilled.

The teachers’ demands included raising salaries, implementing employees’ laws, hiring guards for schools and supporting education in Deir Ezzor.
