Following Israeli airstrikes | “International Coalition” forces mobilize in bases of Al-Tanf and Koniko Gas Field

SOHR activists have monitored mobilization of the “International Coalition” forces in Al-Tanf base within the 55th Kilometer Zone at the Syrian-Jordanian-Iraqi border junction, after the Israeli airstrikes on the Aleppo International Airport and warehouses of Iranian-backed militias near the airport, in anticipation for attacks by Iranian militias on the military base.

On the other hand, drones and “Apache” helicopters of the “International Coalition” flew at a low altitude over “Koniko” Gas Field in Deir Ezzor countryside, coinciding with mobilization of their forces in ther area.

SOHR activists have documented 24 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory in 2022, where Israeli airstrikes targeted the Aleppo International Airport and warehouses of Iranian militias in the vicinity of the airport, destroying the warehouses and damaging the runway of the airport.
