Following previous bombardment | People killed and other stuck under collapsing building in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a residential building comprising five floors in Al-Fardous neighbourhood in the centre of Aleppo province within areas held by the regime forces, has collapsed.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a civilian died and three others were saved from under the rubble. Meanwhile, seven people including children are still stuck under the rubble.

It is worth noting that the neighbourhood was targeted previously with barrel bombs and missiles.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 178 civilians, including ten women and 91 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 255 civilians, including 16 women and 143 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll, a man and his son were killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq, as well as the death of four civilians in the collapse of another building in Jubar neighbourhood.
