Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that the number of civilians, who died under a collapsing building in Al-Fardous neighbourhood in Aleppo, has risen to seven civilians including two children.

The rescue teams have been working on saving those who are stuck under the rubble.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that a residential building comprising five floors in Al-Fardous neighbourhood in the centre of Aleppo province within areas held by the regime forces, had collapsed.

It is worth noting that the neighbourhood was targeted previously with barrel bombs and missiles.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 184 civilians, including ten women and 93 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 255 civilians, including 16 women and 143 children, sustained various injuries in the same period. Among the total death toll, a man and his son were killed in the collapse of a war-damaged building in Darya city in Rif Dimashq, as well as the death of four civilians in the collapse of another building in Jubar neighbourhood.
