Deir Ezzor | 46 Syrians with settled-status handed over by Lebanese Hezbollah to regime to “undergo compulsory service”

Deir Ezzor province: The Lebanese Hezbollah militia has handed over 46 residents of Hatlah town in Deir Ezzor countryside to the regime forces to refer them to compulsory service.

According to SOHR sources, the 46 civilians joined the ranks of the Lebanese “Hezbollah,” to protect themselves from the regime forces” having recently undergone settlement deals with the regime forces. The civilians have been handed over to military security to undergo compulsory service.

Since early September, regime Military Police have intensified their arrest campaign in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, arresting young men to undergo compulsory service.

On September 5, Military police arrested a number of young men in Al-Qusour neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city and took them to their military posts.
