Death toll update | 11 people, mostly women and children, died in building collapse in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that the death toll of the collapse of a building in Al-Firdous neighbourhood of Aleppo has risen to 11 people, including three children, seven women and three men. Meanwhile, two people sustained serious injuries. Rescue teams recovered the people under the rubble primitively.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a residential building comprising five floors in Al-Fardous neighbourhood in the centre of Aleppo province within areas held by the regime forces, collapsed.

According to reliable SOHR sources, a civilian died and three others were saved from under the rubble. Meanwhile, seven people including children are still stuck under the rubble.

It is worth noting that the neighbourhood was targeted previously with barrel bombs and missiles.
