After death and injury of 25 civilians | Russian warplanes renew airstrikes on Idlib countryside

SOHR activists have reported that Russian jets have renewed airstrikes on “Putin-Erdogan” area, and shelled the vicinity of Hafsarja village in western Idlib countryside, ten hours after executing 14 airstrikes on the area.

These new attacks are the second in September, and came after a week of the previous wave of airstrikes on August 31.

Earlier today, SOHR activists documented the death of seven civilians and the injury of 15 others in Russian airstrikes, targeting a stone saw mill and a house at the outskirts of Al-Sheikh Youssef and Hafsarjah villages and areas in Sahl Al-Roj, west of Idlib city.

The area was also hit by a surface-to-surface missile loaded with cluster bombs.

Accordingly, the number of Russian airstrikes has risen to 14, and a surface-to-surface missile.

This morning, SOHR activists documented the death of a civilian and his son and the injury of others in Russian airstrikes on a house and industrial facility in Al-Sheikh Yusuf area in western Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets has risen to 14, targeting areas hosting civilians and HTS military posts in Hafsarjah and Al-Sheikh Yusuf in Idlib countryside.

SOHR activists reported that three Russian fighter jets carried out airstrikes on areas in the vicinity of Hafsarja, Sejer and the vicinity of Al-Ghafar village in Sahl Al-Roj area in western Idlib countryside.
