For “embezzlement” | SDF patrol arrests financial official of Al-Shadadi city in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that an SDF patrol arrested two people, one of which is the financial official in Al-Shadadi city of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” in northern Al-Hasakah countryside, after the SDF patrol raided his house in Al-Sobha in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside for “embezzling nearly 300,000,000 Syrian Liras of Al-Shadadi finances.”

On September 6, a joint military force of US and SDF forces raided a house near “Marsho roundabout” next to Al-Qadmous office in Al-Hasakah city, amid flights by US helicopters over the area.

The joint patrol consisted of four US forces vehicles and a number of SDF vehicles.

According to SOHR activists, an explosion was heard due to the explosion of a stun grenade amid the flight of “International Coalition” helicopters for an hour.

SDF and US troops arrested a suspect for “financing terrorism,” after raiding the house and firing a stun grenade inside. The man was taken to an unknown destination.

According to SOHR sources, the person arrested was funding ISIS cells in Al-Hawl camp in Al-Hasakah countryside, as the people who were arrested during “Humanity and Security” campaign said.

It is worth noting that the arrested man works in antiquities trading and owns a remittance office. The man also worked for SDF forces and was previously arrested and released.
