Military escalation | Regime forces shell villages in Aleppo and Idlib countryside

This morning, regime forces stationed at checkpoints surrounding the villages of Kafr Talal and Tadil, west of Aleppo, have fired artillery shells in areas in “Putin Erdogan” area, SOHR activists reported.

Regime artillery shells hit the villages of Bayanin, Deir Sunbul, Al-Bara and Fulayfel in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operation room fired artillery shells on a regime military position at Bastroun frontline in western Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

Earlier yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a regime soldier by a faction sniper on the 46th regiment frontline in the western countryside of Aleppo.

SOHR activists had monitored intensive artillery shelling by regime forces stationed in Jorin district in north-western Hama countryside, targeting the villages of Ankawi, Ziyarah and Al-Sarmaniyah in Sahl Al-Ghab in Hama countryside, Ghaniyah and Al-Sheikh Sandiyan villages in western Idlib countryside, and Kabbana hills in northern Latakia countryside in “Putin-Erdogan” area.
