Ongoing arresting campaign | Security forces arrest former commander of Daraa opposition factions

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that regime Security Services arrested a former opposition factions’ commander, who underwent reconciliation, at Al-Qanya checkpoints in northern Daraa countryside, and took him to an unknown destination. However, the charges pressed against him haven’t been identified.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that regime forces stationed at Tayara checkpoint arrested nearly ten civilians after the failure of a meeting on September 7 between Syrian regime officials and the dignitaries of Jassim on Jassim-Nawa road, west of Daraa, when regime forces set up a checkpoint there.
