ISIS attack | SDF member killed and another injured west of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists documented that a SDF member was killed and another injured, after they were shot by ISIS members in Al-Jazarah town in western Deir Ezzor countryside.

Yesterday, unidentified persons targeted a SDF headquarters in Hamar Al-Ali area in western Deir Ezzor countryside, followed by a SDF alert and a campaign of arrests in the area.

SOHR has documented 129 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2022. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 91 persons dead: 37 civilians, including a woman and a child, and 61 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

 

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
