Rising tension in Al-Bab city centre | One dies of stroke during Clashes among two groups of displaced people

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that clashes with light weapons erupted in Al-bab city centre in the eastern countryside of Aleppo between a group of displaced people from Deir Ezzor and another group of displaced people from Maarrat Al-Nu’man city. During the clashes, a civilian died of a stroke.

Meanwhile, the military police intercepted to break up the clashes, where they brought in military reinforcement to the city centre and cordoned off the area where the clashes had erupted in order to prevent the expansion of clashes, amid growing tension in the area.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that clashes with light and medium machineguns erupted on Saturday evening between a military police group and members of Ahrar Al-Sham faction on the outskirts of Jarabulus city, east of Aleppo, in areas under the control of factions of “Euphrates Shield” operations room.

These clashes erupted over the arrest of four young men by the military police for “dealing in and trafficking illicit drugs and hashish.” These clashes caused damage to the electricity grid, but they left no casualties.
